Christmas on the farm is something a little different.
This year, I’m opening the gates to our beautiful Tonimbuk farm for a limited number of Christmas Mini Sessions — a relaxed 15,30,45-minute photography experience designed to capture your family just as they are, with a little Christmas magic woven in.
Think beautiful natural light, our Christmas setup, the farm as your backdrop, children being themselves and genuine moments together.
No stiff posing. No rushing. No trying to make everyone look perfectly at the camera.
Just time to slow down, enjoy your family and create beautiful photographs you'll treasure long after Christmas has passed.
A little pre-Christmas relaxation
December can be wonderfully exciting — but let's be honest, it can also be a little chaotic.
Christmas shopping, school concerts, work, parties, end-of-year activities and everything else that seems to arrive at once.
Your Christmas Mini Session is designed to be different.
Come out to the farm, take a breath and spend half an hour simply enjoying your family.
We'll wander, talk, play and capture the little moments along the way. I'll guide you when needed, but much of the session is relaxed and natural.
The result is a collection of photographs that feels like your family, rather than a collection of perfectly posed Christmas portraits.
Christmas, with a country twist
Our Christmas setup is styled especially for the mini sessions, creating a beautiful festive backdrop without taking away from the natural beauty of the farm.
You'll have the best of both worlds:
Christmas magic + beautiful Australian countryside.
We'll use a combination of the Christmas setup and the surrounding farm, taking advantage of the beautiful natural light and scenery.
Every session will be photographed with a mixture of softly posed portraits and natural interactions, giving you a varied gallery of images to choose from.

Your session
When you arrive, there is no need to worry about what you're supposed to do.
I'll take care of that.
We'll start with a few easy portraits and then move naturally around the property, using the Christmas setup, driveway, paddocks and beautiful natural light.
Children can move, explore and be themselves. Parents can interact with them rather than constantly trying to get everyone to smile.
I'll gently guide you throughout the session so you never feel awkward or unsure.
The aim isn't perfection. It's connection.
And sometimes the photograph you'll love most is the one where nobody is looking at the camera.
What happens after your session?
Your images will be carefully selected and professionally edited in my signature style — clean, warm, natural and true to life.
You'll receive an online gallery where you can view your photographs from the comfort of home.
Your gallery will contain approximately 10–15 images, from which you can select your included digital images, depending on which package you have chosen.
You'll be able to choose the photographs you love most rather than receiving a predetermined collection of images.
And, of course, if you fall in love with more than your five to fifteen, you'll have the opportunity to purchase additional images and beautiful professional prints and products.

Limited Christmas Sessions
This year I'm offering a reduced number of Christmas Mini Sessions.
I've deliberately limited the number of sessions available so that each session can be relaxed and unrushed, rather than creating a production line of families through the farm.
Once the sessions are booked, that's it for Christmas 2026.

They're relaxed enough for little ones.
They're beautiful enough to create photographs you'll want to print.
And most importantly, they're an opportunity to pause for half an hour and enjoy being together.

Where are the sessions held?
Christmas Mini Sessions are held at our private farm in Tonimbuk, Victoria at the foothills of the Bunyip State park.
The property provides a beautiful natural backdrop with trees, paddocks, country scenery and our specially styled Christmas setup.
How long is the session?
Each session is 15,30 or 45 minutes.
This gives us plenty of time to create a beautiful variety of photographs while keeping things short and manageable — particularly for young children.
How many people can we bring?
Christmas Mini Sessions are designed for immediate family groups.
If you'd like to include extended family, grandparents or a larger group, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss whether a full family session would be more suitable.
What should we wear?
I recommend keeping things comfortable and coordinated rather than overly matching.
Think natural, timeless colours and textures that complement the country setting.
Creams, whites, soft neutrals, denim, earthy tones, greens and muted reds work beautifully for Christmas sessions.
Avoid large logos, strong patterns and fluorescent colours.
Not sure what to wear? Don't worry. I'm happy to offer some simple styling guidance before your session.
Do we have to dress in Christmas clothes?
Absolutely not!
Christmas outfits can be lovely, but they're not essential.
The aim is to create photographs you'll still love years from now, so choose clothing that feels like you.
What if my children won't cooperate?
That's completely okay.
In fact, that's one of the reasons I photograph families naturally.
We don't need everyone sitting perfectly and smiling at the camera. We'll move, play, explore and interact.
I'll work with your children rather than against them.
Some of the best photographs happen when they forget they're having their photograph taken.
What happens if it rains?
Australian weather can be unpredictable, particularly in December.
If the weather isn't suitable for your session, I'll contact you to discuss rescheduling.
Your safety and the quality of your photographs always come first.
Can we bring the dog?
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
Please let me know when booking so I can make sure it is suitable.
When will we receive our images?
Your gallery will be prepared after your session and you'll receive a link to view your photographs online within 2 weeks.
You'll then select your 5 favourite images from the gallery.
Can I buy more than the 5 included images?
Yes.
Your session includes 5, 10 or 15 digital images, but you'll have the opportunity to purchase additional digital images if you'd like more from your gallery.
Professional prints and other beautiful products are also available.
Can I print my digital images?
Yes.
Your included high-resolution digital files are yours to print and share for personal use.
I also offer professional printing and heirloom products if you'd prefer to have your photographs printed for you.
Can I give a Christmas Mini Session as a gift?
Absolutely.
A Christmas family photography session makes a beautiful gift for parents, grandparents or your own family.
Gift vouchers can be arranged — just get in touch.
Can I bring more than one family?
Christmas Mini Sessions are intended for one immediate family.
If you'd like photographs with grandparents, cousins or multiple families, please contact me about a larger family session.
What happens if we're running late?
Because these are limited mini sessions with bookings scheduled throughout the day, it's important to arrive on time.
If you're running late, your session time may unfortunately need to be shortened.
I recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early so you have time to park, gather the kids and take a breath before we begin.
Are the sessions suitable for babies and young children?
Yes!
In fact, the relaxed outdoor setting is particularly lovely for little ones.
There is no requirement for children to sit still for the entire session.
Can we request a particular photograph?
I'll photograph a variety of combinations throughout your session — family together, parents with children, individual children and natural interactions.
If there is something particularly important to you, let me know beforehand and I'll do my best to include it.
